My Sweet Baby Boy!

My sweet baby boy was diagnosed with kidney reflux, while I was still pregnant with him! I couldn't believe it when the doctor's office called me saying that they had noticed something wrong with my baby on a sonogram. I thought that they had gotten me confused with someone else! You never want to believe it when they call you to say...something could be wrong with your baby and we want you to go see a fetal specialist. So I went...here he is in that time!!!

So, I went and they told me that indeed he had kidney reflux...what that is??? Well, it's a lot like acid reflux...but your urine gets pushed back up into the kidneys instead of draining all into the bladder. Having this can cause kidney infections, and serious damage to the kidneys. Although they could see that he had this, they couldn't tell me just how bad it was. All they could tell me was that the right side was worse then the left. So I would have to wait until he was born and they would do further tests to see how bad it was. On October 11th my sweet Jessie was born he was beautiful!!!
